Irshad Mohammed

Irshad Mohammed has a diverse work experience in the field of IT management and information security. Irshad currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Burjeel Holdings, where they ensure regulatory compliance, executes ISO 27001 certification, and aligns IT security policies with industry standards. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Manager at LLH/Medeor24x7 Hospital, where they managed IT operations. Irshad also has experience as an IT Manager at the National Food Products Company, where they worked as a Business Analyst and Project Manager for various automation projects. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as IT Manager at Geoscience Testing Lab, where they implemented an ERP system and designed a new IT infrastructure, and Network Administrator at AMT International, where they were responsible for network-related activities and application security. Additionally, they worked as a System Administrator at ELKEN INTERNATIONAL INDIA PVT LTD.

Irshad Mohammed completed an MBA in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Business Management and Studies from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a PG IT degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University from 2003 to 2005. Irshad also holds a B.Sc degree in Chemistry from the University of Kerala from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they completed a Pre-Degree program from Mahatma Gandhi University from 1994 to 1996. Irshad Mohammed has obtained various certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in April 2022 and the ITIL Foundation Level from APMG International in 2008. Irshad has also received certifications from Cloud Security Alliance, Data Security Council of India, BSI, Cisco, and Microsoft.
