Emma Burkholder is an experienced librarian currently serving as the Community and Programming Librarian at Burlington Public Library since February 2022, where responsibilities include developing and coordinating community programming and outreach activities. Prior to this, Emma worked as a Community Development and Programming Specialist at Niagara Falls Public Library for over 16 years, focusing on community partnerships and strategic planning. Additional roles include customer service positions at Niagara Falls Public Library, Welland Public Library, and Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library, highlighting a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and engagement. Emma holds a Master of Library & Information Science from San Jose State University and an undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University.
