Nedra Austin

Nedra Austin serves as the Director-Legal Counsel for the Real Estate Division at Burlington Stores, Inc. since November 2021. Prior to this role, Nedra was the Executive Director/Senior Counsel for Real Estate & Contracts at Dine Brands Global, Inc., overseeing legal matters for IHOP and Applebee's from September 2003 to March 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director for Franchise & Property Management & Real Estate Counsel at the IHOP Restaurant Support Center and as Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice, focusing on land law and coastal development. Nedra began a legal career as an associate at the Law Offices of Mallory and Brown-Curtis, specializing in civil litigation, real estate, and construction law. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
