Varadheesh Chennakrishnan

Varadheesh Chennakrishnan has a diverse work experience in various companies and positions. Varadheesh is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Burlington Stores, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the same role at JOANN Stores from March 2019 to January 2023.

Before their roles as CIO, Chennakrishnan worked at Ulta Beauty, where they held multiple positions from 2010 to 2019. Varadheesh started as the Director of Enterprise Architecture and Project Delivery and progressed to become the Senior Vice President of Applications & Enterprise Architecture and Vice President of Applications & Enterprise Architecture.

Additionally, Chennakrishnan worked as an SAP Solution Architect at Sabre Airline Solutions for a brief period in 2010. Varadheesh also served as a Senior Manager of SAP at Insight from 2008 to 2010.

Prior to that, they worked as an Independent SAP Software Consultant and held the position of Manager IS at Insight. Chennakrishnan began their career as a Sr. Software Analyst at Satyam and Larsen & Toubro Infotech. Varadheesh also served as a Sr. Maintenance Engineer at Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation.

Throughout their career, Chennakrishnan has gained extensive experience in the areas of information technology, enterprise architecture, project delivery, and software consultancy.

Varadheesh Chennakrishnan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli. Varadheesh also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Additionally, they hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Varadheesh Chennakrishnan has also completed an Advanced Management Program: Intensive in Business Administration and Management, General from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Varadheesh completed their high school education at RSK Sr.Secondary School.
