Bjarne Bech

Bjarne Bech is an experienced professional in the biomass energy sector with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as General Manager of Biomass Sales at BWSC since 2012, Bjarne Bech is responsible for strategy and sales related to biomass power plants. Prior to this role, Bjarne Bech was the Biomass Development Manager at Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor from 2007, overseeing the biomass power plant sales department. Bjarne Bech's experience also includes serving as Technical Manager at Amagerforbrænding, where responsibilities included managing the incineration and power plant, and Operations Manager at Skandinavisk Miljø Service, focusing on flue gas cleaning plant engineering and execution. Earlier in the career, Bjarne Bech held roles at FLS Miljø, including vice president and project manager, leading the execution of numerous turnkey flue gas desulfurization plants and a straw-fired power plant. Bjarne Bech holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Energy from the Technical University of Copenhagen, earned between 1971 and 1976.
