Cory Borg has extensive work experience in facilities management. Cory started their career at Air Canada in 1987, where they held various roles, including Property Manager, Senior Building Services Coordinator, Project Management Coordinator, and Communications Administrator. Cory then worked at the University of Calgary as a Property Manager, overseeing unique infrastructure such as an observatory and the Olympic Oval speed skating track. Later, they joined ATB Financial as a Corporate Facilities Manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of historical locations and office towers. After that, they worked at Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions as a Regional Director. Currently, they are the Director of Facilities at the Burnaby School District, where they oversee short and long-term facilities planning, maintenance delivery, and custodial services, among other responsibilities.

During the summer months, our District provides students the opportunity to take various courses. Summer session is an opportunity for teachers, who choose to, to continue working during the summer months. Students The Burnaby School District supports and provides learning to 25,000 Kindergarten to Grade 12 (K-12) students and to more than 6,000 adult learners.
