Madeline Lasell, MPH, RD, LD, CDCES has a wide range of work experience in nutrition services, workplace wellness, culinary nutrition, diabetes management, nutrition in schools, clinical nutrition, dietetic internships, foodservice management, and nutrition outreach. In 2022, they began their role as Nutrition Services Manager at Child, Inc. Head Start, where they are responsible for directing, managing, supervising, planning, and coordinating the early childhood nutrition program across 12 Head Start/Early Head Start childcare centers and 12 independent school district sites throughout Travis County, TX. In 2021, they began working as a Diabetes Workplace Wellness Instructor for Burnalong and as a Culinary Nutrition Instructor & Content/Copy Writer. In 2020, they were a Registered Dietitian (Remote) and Registered Dietitian/Wellness Program Coordinator for Everyday Diabetes Center. Madeline also began a role as a Marketing Specialist in 2022. From 2018-2021, Madeline worked as a Registered Dietitian for Beaufort Jasper Hampton Comprehensive Health Services, Inc., providing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and Diabetes Self-Management Education & Support (DSMES) for adult and pediatric outpatients at four Federally-Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Madeline also provided Pediatric MNT for youth (ages 5-17) at five School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs). From 2018-2017, Madeline was a Graduate Research Assistant for the UC Davis Center for Nutrition in Schools and a Clinical Nutrition Course Assistant for the UC Davis Department of Nutrition. In 2016, they completed dietetic internships in Clinical Rotations, Community Rotations, and Foodservice Management Rotations at Georgia Southern University. In 2015, they were a Nutrition Outreach Assistant for the Head Start Program at Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County.
