Greg Cohn has an extensive and varied work experience, beginning in 1994 when they were the Director of Travel Books at St. Martin's Press. There, they were responsible for the P&L of a $7.5M travel book line, managing all publishing functions, and successfully consolidating the title segment into its own category. In 1999, they became the VP of Content Strategy & Partnerships at Away.com (now a division of Cendant). Greg then became self-employed in 2001 as an Independent Deal Developer. In 2003, they were the General Manager of Health at Waterfront Media, with P&L responsibility for a $20+M product line. In 2004, they were the Co-Founder of Auctions for Change and the "Chief Business Guy" at The New West Network. From 2005 to 2011, they were the Sr. Director, Global Head of Product, Yahoo! Social Monetization & Games and the Director, Strategy & Business Development, Yahoo! Open Strategy. Lastly, in 2011 they became the Founder & CEO of Burner (Ad Hoc Labs), a privacy layer for the mobile phone.

Greg Cohn attended the University of Pennsylvania from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French. Greg then went on to the University of Oxford, where they completed an M.Phil in Victorian Literature and Literary Theory from 1992 to 1994.
