Daniel Guralchuk is currently the Energy & Utilities Project Manager at Burns Engineering, Inc. Daniel has over six years of experience managing projects and programs related to utility generation clients.
Daniel started their career as a Senior Consultant with Enercon Services in October 2015. In this role, they provided consulting and technical support on company projects related to utility generation clients within the US northeast.
In June 2014, Daniel became a Project Manager with AECOM. In this role, they managed projects for clients within the North American electric utility industry, specifically leading the Program Management for New Jersey's Northeast Grid Reliability (NEG) Project valued at over $900 million and New York's Transmission Life Extension and Modernization projects valued over $700 million.
The NEG project entailed managing, designing, and constructing 4 new underground circuit feeders, multiple transmission line upgrades / replacements, and 11 substation upgrades / replacements to a 230kV, 80kA transmission network. Additional responsibilities involved managing the client’s budget, preparing scope documents and request for proposals with other AE contract firms, construction firms, and equipment suppliers. Other key duties were leading project team members towards milestone completion dates, holding critical issues meetings, and coordinating resources for specialized project tasks.
The T-LEM projects entailed project management/coordination with the utilities operating departments, vendors, and contractors. Projects were geared towards upgrading transmission substation/switchyards and energy control centers.
In May 2019, Daniel left AECOM to join Burns Engineering, Inc. as the Energy & Utilities
Daniel Guralchuk's educational career includes obtaining an MBA from Baruch College as well as a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.
