Jim Davis has been an Aviation Project Manager at Burns Engineering, Inc. since January 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Project Engineer from January 2017 to December 2017, and as a Project Engineer from October 2012 to December 2016. Jim began their career as a Systems Engineer at Professional Systems Engineering, LLC. from May 2010 to September 2012. There, they were responsible for systems design and specification of electronic & physical security, tele/data, fire alarm, sprinkler, life safety, video surveillance (CCTV), Building Automation (BMS), access control and infrastructure in correctional facilities, airports, courthouses, police stations, and other government facilities.
Jim Davis received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and an Electrical Engineering degree from Lehigh University. Jim is certified by the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering & Land Surveying as a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) - Oregon, by BICSI as a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), by The University of the State of New York Education Department as a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) - New York, by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists as a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) - Pennsylvania, and by the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers as a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) - Delaware.
