Tom Hart

Tom Hart is the current General Manager of Appledore at Burntisland Fabrications Limited. Prior to this, they were the Director of Projects & Engineering at Drydocks World in Dubai from April 2019 to June 2021. Tom has also held the position of Group Operations Manager at Lamprell from April 2016 to April 2019, and Group Completions and Commissioning Manager at Lamprell from August 2014 to April 2016. Tom has over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry, starting their career as a Marine Engineer with the RFA and P&O Ferries in 1987. Tom has since held various positions including Production Control Manager at Dubai Drydocks from 2001 to 2007, and Project Manager at Maritime Industrial Services from 2007 to 2010.

Tom Hart completed a HND in Marine Engineering at South Tyneside College in South Shields. Tom also completed 7 O levels at Dubai College in the United Arab Emirates.
