Chris Whitelaw

Chris Whitelaw is an Associate Director of Project and Design Management at Buro Happold since January 2022, leading the UAE Project and Design Management team and overseeing multi-discipline project management for giga projects in the Middle East. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Engineer and Project Manager at WSP in the UK and the Middle East, where Chris managed infrastructure projects and contributed to the development of an Artificial Intelligence strategy as part of a high-potential taskforce. Earlier roles include Senior Engineer/Project Manager on the Education City Tram Project, Utilities Engineer at Arcadis, Graduate Engineer at RPS Group, and Project Assistant with Original Volunteers. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Civil Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University and a Higher National Certificate in Aerospace Engineering from Ayr College.
