Gregory Burgess

Gregory Burgess is a seasoned professional in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry with extensive experience in design technology and user experience design. Currently serving as the Regional BIM Lead Asia and Head of Design & Technology at Buro Happold, Burgess champions the implementation of computational approaches and manages BIM workflows for large, multi-disciplinary projects across the APAC region. As a co-creator of Urban-Rural Bridge, a platform focused on sustainable farming in southern China, Burgess has defined strategic vision and established a dedicated team. Previous roles include Senior User Experience Designer at Autodesk, where Burgess contributed to significant product developments and user experience transitions, and Studio Lead at DNA GreenDesign, specializing in LEED-based projects. With a Bachelor of Design from the University of Alberta, Burgess also has noteworthy experience in academic roles, teaching sustainable design and project management to undergraduate students.
