Chunying Ling

Research Manager at Burpee Gardens

Chunying Ling has worked in various roles in the horticulture industry since 2006. Chunying began their career as a Research Assistant at Beijing Botanical Garden, where they took care of the orchid collection by doing maintenance and propagation. In 2010, they became an International Trainee at Longwood Gardens. In 2011, they took on the role of Administrative Assistant of the CEO at Nabobay Rose Co. LTD. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Star® Roses and Plants/Conard-Pyle as an Associate Breeder and Research Laboratory Technician. Since 2017, they have been a Research Manager at Burpee Gardening.

Chunying Ling received their Master of Science (MS) in Public Horticulture from the University of Delaware between 2012 and 2014. From 2007 to 2010, they received their Master of Science (MS) in Ornamental Horticulture from Beijing Forestry University. Chunying also holds a Master's degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Beijing Forestry University.
