Colin Schmidt has been working in the field of packaging engineering since 2011. Colin began their career at Xerox as a Packaging Engineer, where they oversaw the development and implementation of new packaging standards for thousands of spare-part SKUs. Colin then moved to Sealed Air Corporation in 2013, where they held the role of Design Engineer, Packaging. In this role, they designed, prototyped, and tested molded polyurethane packaging for a wide variety of consumer and industrial products and applications. In 2018, they took on two roles, Manager of Packaging at Away and Packaging Engineer at West Elm. In 2021, they began working as a Packaging Engineer at Burrow.
Colin Schmidt attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Packaging Science.
