Teymur Abasguliyev

Teymur Abasguliyev is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the energy and natural gas sectors. Currently serving as Group CFO at SOCAR Türkiye since May 2013, Teymur oversees a significant portfolio including the STAR Refinery and the largest petrochemical complex, Petkim. Additional leadership roles include Chairman of the Board at SOCAR Terminal and board member positions at BURSAGAZ, Kayserigaz, and SOCAR Turkey Petrol Trade. Teymur has also held pivotal roles in TANAP Natural Gas Transmission Company, including Chairman of the Finance Committee. Previous experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers as Partner involved managing a sizable team and specializing in various industries, particularly oil and gas. Teymur holds advanced qualifications, including a Fellow member of ACCA and degrees in International Relations and Law from Baku State University.
