Geoff Donaker

Geoff Donaker is a general partner and founder at Burst Capital. Geoff has also served as the COO and board member at Yelp from January 2005 to December 2019. During their time at Yelp, the company grew from 10 to 5000 people, 100k to 100m users, and $0 to $700m in revenue.

From 2001 to 2005, Geoff worked at eBay in various positions including senior manager of business development, director of the collectibles category, director of the toys category, and director of international category management.

Before eBay, Geoff was the VP of online operations at Voter.com from 2000 to 2001. Voter.com was a public affairs marketplace that grew to millions of users and dollars ARR before quickly drying up when the financial markets crashed.

Geoff has also worked as a consultant for Mercer Management Consulting from 1995 to 1997.

Geoff Donaker graduated with a BS in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
