Scott Lai

Scott Lai has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. Scott is currently the CFO at BURST Oral Care. Prior to joining BURST, Scott served as the VP of Finance for The Bouqs Company, an online flower retailer that delivers flowers and plants fresh from eco-friendly, sustainable farms to doorsteps nationwide. Scott also served as the Director of Finance for Artissimo Designs LLC, a wall decor business that integrates product development, in-house designs, assembly, international logistics management and marketing.

Before their time at Artissimo, Scott was the Corporate Controller for NAC Marketing Company LLC and then the Corporate Controller for Quadriga Americas, overseeing the USA and Asia Regions. Scott started their career as an Assistant Controller for Aisin Holdings of America, Inc and Aisin World of America and then transitioned to Lead Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.

Scott Lai completed their undergraduate degree in Business Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. Scott then went on to earn their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.

They are on a team with Brittany Stewart - President & COO, Jose Murcia - Chief of Staff, and Ashley Thompson - Chief Marketing Officer. Scott Lai reports to Hamish Khayat, CEO.
