Chris Deacon

Chris Deacon is an experienced communications and marketing professional in the sports industry, currently serving as the Head of Communications and Marketing at Burton Albion Football Club since March 2025. Prior to this role, Chris held multiple positions at Brentford Football Club from August 2015 to February 2025, including Head of Media and Communications and Media and Communications Manager. Chris began a career in media and communications at Watford Football Club as a Junior Media and Communications Officer from September 2011 to August 2015. In addition to football-related positions, Chris worked as a Visitor Experience Interactor at Warner Bros. Entertainment and as a Freelance Sports Writer covering various sports.
