James Ogada

James Ogada serves as the Engagement Director at Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, leading the Inclusive Finance team and managing a diverse portfolio of projects since May 2016. Prior experience at Busara includes roles as Senior Associate, where collaboration with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation informed digital credit strategies, and as Associate, driving innovation in the Tanzanian financial services sector. Earlier positions included market research at Millward Brown, account management at Reelforge Media Monitoring, and internships with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the United Nations Environment Programme. Currently, James Ogada is pursuing Executive Education in Strategic Leadership in Inclusive Finance at Harvard Business School, building on a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Communications from Abilene Christian University and further studies at the University of Liverpool.
