Kelsey Norris is a seasoned bookseller at Busboys and Poets since November 2018, bringing a wealth of experience in literature and writing. Kelsey formerly served as a research fellow at Robert Penn Warren, where coordination of an oral history project involved interviewing descendants of African-Americans connected to Fort Negley. Internship experience includes editorial work at The Oxford American Magazine, where tasks encompassed fact-checking and creating resources for future interns. Kelsey also held the role of Editor In Chief for Nashville Review, leading a remote staff and managing content production. Academic roles include a graduate teaching assistant position at Vanderbilt University, where Kelsey taught fiction writing. Prior experiences with the Peace Corps include teaching English and providing administrative support in Washington, D.C. Education includes an MFA in Fiction Writing from Vanderbilt University and a BA in English Language and Literature from Mississippi State University.
