Thilo Rau

Thilo Rau has extensive experience working in finance and consulting. From 2016-present, they have been the CFO at Busch Vacuum Solutions, where they have been involved in the integration of a listed competitor and the establishment of capital market-capable group structures. Prior to this, Thilo worked at KPMG Deutschland from 1997-2015. During their time at KPMG, they held various roles including as a Partner, Director, Senior Manager, and Auditor. Their responsibilities included project management for carve-outs and post-merger integration projects, consulting for accounting shared service centers, and annual audits of family-run and listed companies.

Thilo Rau attended the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen. Thilo Rau also holds several additional certifications, including Wirtschaftsprüfer / WP, Steuerberater / StB, Certified Public Accountant / CPA, and Certified Information Systems Auditor / CISA, which were obtained between 1999 and 2003.
