Emily Scherzer

Emily Scherzer currently serves as Vice President and Director of Client & Community Relations at Busey, a role commenced in September 2023. Prior to this position, Emily held the title of Community Experience Director at DICK'S Sporting Goods from March to October 2023, contributing to the community development at Dick's House of Sport in Champaign. During a previous tenure at Busey from April 2018 to April 2023, Emily progressed through several roles, including Vice President of Charitable Relations & Event Strategy and Vice President of Community Relations and Marketing. Emily began career experience at Midland States Bank as a Commercial Sales personal banker and has a background in banking from PNC as a Personal Banker. Earlier work experience includes producing news segments at WCIA. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Eastern Illinois University and an Associate degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Parkland College.
