Jeff Jones

Jeff Jones has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Jeff currently serves as the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Busey since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Stephens Inc. from April 2015 to August 2019 as the Managing Director and Head of US Depository Investment Banking. From July 2014 to April 2015, they held the position of Managing Director and Head of Midwest Depository Investment Banking at Sterne Agee. Jeff also has experience at Sandler O'Neill, where they worked as a Managing Director - Investment Banking from February 2003 to July 2014. Jeff started their career at Lehman Brothers as an Associate - Investment Banking from June 2000 to February 2003. Prior to that, they worked as an Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis from May 1995 to August 1998.

Jeff Jones attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained an MBA degree. During their time at Northwestern, they focused on finance, management/strategy, and marketing. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1995, they attended Indiana University Bloomington and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing.
