Jeremy Thorpe

Jeremy Thorpe, M.S has extensive experience in community relations, marketing, sales, and promotions. Jeremy is currently working as a Community Relations and Marketing Specialist at Busey, where they execute sponsorship partnerships, supports internal volunteerism efforts, and facilitates communication. Previously, they worked as a Group Sales Account Manager at the Indianapolis Colts and an Account Executive at IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, where they utilized cold calls, appointments, and networking events to sell tickets and increase revenue. Thorpe also has experience as a Radio Personality and Promotions Assistant at Stevie Jay Broadcasting, where they created entertainment content, grew audience outreach, and coordinated promotional events. Additionally, they served as an Assistant General Manager at Equinox Fitness, an On-Field Emcee and Marketing/Promotions and Community Relations Intern at Peoria Chiefs Community Baseball LLC, and a Management Assistant at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Thorpe's experience also includes a role as an Account Executive and Community and Public Relations Manager at Gateway Grizzlies Baseball, where they were responsible for ticket sales, relationship building, and event planning. Jeremy began their career as an Athletics Marketing and Promotions Intern at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Jeremy Thorpe received a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management from Eastern Illinois University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to pursue a Master's degree in recreation, sports, and tourism.
