Shreya Dasgupta

Shreya Dasgupta, Ph.D, is a co-founder of BUSFAM, holding this position since April 2019. Prior to this role, Shreya served as an ICMR-Centenary Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases from November 2016 to November 2019. Shreya began an academic career as a CSIR-Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Chemical Biology from August 2009 to June 2016. Shreya earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the ICMR-National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases and previously completed MSc and BSc degrees in Microbiology from Ballygunge Science College and VJRC, Calcutta University, respectively. Early education was completed at Our Lady Queen of the Missions School.
