Douwe Jan van der Wal

Douwe Jan van der Wal possesses extensive experience in education and sports management. Currently, Douwe Jan serves as a Hogeschooldocent and Jaarcoördinator at Hanzehogeschool Groningen, contributing to curriculum development and operational coordination. Additional roles include Beleidsadviseur at FC Groningen, Hoofd Innovatie en Methodiek at Sportpaspoort, and Head of Training at BrainDrills. Throughout a significant tenure with ONS Sneek, Douwe Jan held leadership positions in football development and policy, alongside founding the Stichting Regionale Voetbal Academie. A commitment to youth and sports is evident through various initiatives, including the Jorn Feenstra Toernooi.
