Jahangir Bhatti

Jahangir Bhatti is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Principal of the $400M Climate Tech Fund II at BDC Capital, focusing on Canadian companies in decarbonization through proprietary technology. Previously, as Director of the $600 million Cleantech Practice at BDC, Jahangir led investments in early to late-stage eco-friendly technology entrepreneurs. Experience also includes positions as a Senior Account Manager at Cyclic Materials and numerous roles as Investor and Board Observer for various organizations, including Jule, VueReal Inc., Mysa, and Vive Crop Protection. Prior work includes financial analysis and valuation roles at OMERS Private Markets and PwC, as well as an analyst position at Lloyds TSB Bank plc. Jahangir holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from Queen's University, and has participated in exchange programs at Nanyang Technological University Singapore and Queen’s International Study Center.
