Liz Currie

Liz Currie is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Associate Principal at BDC within the Growth Equity Partners division since May 2021, after holding the position of Associate in the same area. Prior to BDC, Liz worked at CIBC Capital Markets from August 2018 to May 2021 as an Analyst in Investment Banking, focusing on Consumer, Industrials, and Telecommunications sectors. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant and Logistics Director at FreshSight Queen's, and as an Alpine Ski Race Coach at Osler Bluff Ski Club. Liz has also engaged in various summer analyst positions at CIBC Capital Markets and BMO Capital Markets, as well as being an Analyst for the Queen's Energy and Commodities Association. Liz holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and has studied at the University of St. Gallen. Education was preceded by a High School Diploma from Havergal College.
