Alushe Hitula is an experienced Evaluation Specialist at FAO since June 2024, contributing to the evaluation of the NORAD-funded project focused on sustainable fisheries and aquaculture resources. Simultaneously, Alushe serves as the Lead Evaluation Consultant for the PROFISHBLUE program at SADC Secretariat, enhancing fisheries governance across several African nations. With a robust background in consultancy and business advisory roles, including Executive Consultant at Business Financial Solutions and Founder of the Social Analytics and Auditing Company, Alushe has successfully led various projects related to fisheries data analysis, climate finance, and policy development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Management in Development Practice from the University of Pretoria and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management from the University of Namibia.
