Janne Kari

Janne Kari is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the ICT and Digitalisation sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Industry at Business Finland since January 2018, Janne manages a team focused on promoting investments in these areas, including the establishment of R&D teams. Previously, Janne has held significant roles such as Senior Advisor at Kaato Ry and Invest in Finland, providing valuable insights into foreign direct investment for international ICT companies. Additional experience includes a senior business development role at Nokia, where Janne contributed to new business opportunities and operator partnerships, as well as product management at Nokia Mobile Phones and project management in software localisation at Microsoft. Janne holds a Master of Engineering degree in Business and Industrial Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, obtained between 1983 and 1990.
