Suvi Sundquist

Suvi Sundquist is an experienced professional in business development and innovation, serving as Director for North East Asia and Country Director at Business Finland from August 2018 to August 2023, where the focus was on assisting Finnish companies in establishing their presence in South Korea. Prior to this, Suvi held the position of Senior Director, providing export support and innovation funding to consumer business SMEs across various sectors including fashion, design, e-commerce, and media. Suvi's earlier experience includes roles at Tekes as Project Manager and Senior Technology Adviser, where large innovation initiatives were led and chemical industry innovation funding was managed. Suvi began a career at Kemira as Team Leader, overseeing R&D teams for industrial clients, and as Process Development Engineer after starting as a summer trainee. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Aalto University.
