Hannah Darnton has a diverse work experience in the field of ethics, technology, and human rights. Their most recent role was as the Director of Ethics, Technology, and Human Rights at BSR since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Director in the same field from February 2020 to March 2022, and as the Program Manager from June 2018 to February 2020. Before joining BSR, Hannah worked as an Analyst at The Skoll Foundation from November 2015 to June 2018. Hannah also held positions at Not For Sale, where they were the Grants and Asia Program Manager from October 2013 to September 2015, and a Free2Work Researcher from January 2013 to October 2013. Hannah's earlier experience includes a role as a Legal Researcher for the Research and Development Team at ECPAT International from November 2011 to June 2012. Hannah began their career as an International Educator for Africa at the International Foundation for Education and Self-Help from August 2009 to July 2010.

Hannah Darnton received their MSc in NGOs and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2010-2011. Prior to that, they obtained their BA (Honors) degree in Political Science, French, and International Studies from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
