Richard Wingfield

Director, Technology And Human Rights at Business for Social Responsibility

Richard Wingfield has over 12 years of work experience in the field of human rights and law. Richard is currently serving as the Director of Technology and Human Rights at BSR. Previously, they worked at Global Partners Digital as the Head of Legal for six years. Prior to that, Richard held positions at the British Institute of Human Rights and the Equal Rights Trust as a Senior Human Rights Officer and Advocacy Officer respectively. Richard also has experience as a Barrister at 6KBW College Hill and Red Lion Chambers. Richard began their career at the Ministry of Justice as a Deputy Programme Manager and Legal/Policy Advisor.

Richard Wingfield attended the University of Nottingham from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a focus on Law and European Law. In addition, from 2006 to 2007, they studied European Law at Utrecht University.
