Amy Sinclair is a seasoned professional in human rights research, policy, and advocacy, currently serving as the Regional Representative for Australia, New Zealand & Pacific at the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre since January 2017, where Amy established the organization's presence in the region. Notably, Amy has held roles as an Interim Director of KnowTheChain and as a Regional Consultant, alongside their contributions as an appointed member of the Australian Government's Modern Slavery Expert Group from October 2018 to December 2022. Their experience includes providing strategic advice on Australia's Modern Slavery Act and past consultancy with the Australian Human Rights Commission on implementing UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Amy's legal career began at Clifford Chance and included positions at King & Wood Mallesons and DibbsBarker. Educational credentials encompass a Master of Arts in History from King's College London, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law specializing in International Human Rights Law from UNSW, and various qualifications from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
