Emil Sirén Gualinga is a seasoned researcher and analyst with a focus on sustainable finance and the renewable energy value chain. Currently serving as a Researcher at the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, Emil's work emphasizes the integration of Indigenous-owned renewable energy projects within the context of transition minerals. Previously, Emil held the position of Impact Finance Analyst at Amazonia Impact Ventures, where engagement with Indigenous cooperatives and businesses in the Amazon was central. Experience also includes a role as Sustainable Finance Associate at Ethos, developing strategies for managing environmental, social, and governance impacts for financial institutions. Emil's academic background includes a Master's degree in Business and Development Studies from Copenhagen Business School and prior degrees in Accounting, Financial Management, and Business Economics.
