Lene Wendland

Lene Wendland is a globally recognized expert and thought leader in the field of Business and Human Rights, currently serving on the International Advisory Network at the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre and the Stakeholder Advisory Council at amfori. Lene Wendland also works as an Independent Consultant, providing strategic advice on integrating human rights within corporate governance and managing associated risks, with a focus on complex operating contexts and digital technologies. Additional roles include serving on the International Olympic Committee Human Rights Advisory Committee and the Copenhagen Tech Policy Committee. Lene Wendland has extensive experience at the United Nations Human Rights, where a leadership role involved directing the B-Tech Project and overseeing significant initiatives in the Business and Human Rights domain. With educational qualifications including a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen, Lene Wendland continues to influence the intersection of business practices and human rights through various advisory roles and initiatives.
