Heather Baker

Heather Baker is an accomplished employment programme manager currently overseeing the national rollout of an innovative employment initiative at Business in the Community, which connects jobseekers with business professionals for coaching support. In addition, Heather serves as a team member at Room for Work, providing one-on-one coaching and facilitating career transition workshops. Prior experience includes managing adult learning programmes at Surrey County Council aimed at supporting mental health recovery, engaging with various community stakeholders. Earlier roles include project management at the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and product management positions at UK Trade & Investment, O2, and Visa, where Heather contributed to significant service delivery enhancements and brand compliance initiatives. Heather holds a BA (Hons) in German & Management Studies from the University of Leeds and a Diploma in Professional Coach-Mentoring from Leeds University Business School and The OCM.
