Mary Macleod has a diverse and extensive work experience. Mary has held various leadership positions and been involved in organizations focused on promoting gender equality and economic empowerment for women. Mary has served as the Chair of the UK Government's Women's Business Council and a member of the G20 EMPOWER Alliance. Mary has also held roles in organizations such as Business in the Community, August Leadership, Career Ready, auticon UK, LEWIS Global Communications, London Women's Forum, and Korn Ferry. Additionally, Mary has worked in the Scotland Office and 10 Downing Street, where they served as a member of the No.10 Policy Board and the Prime Minister's Small Business Ambassador for London.

Mary Macleod has a education history that includes completing the Royal Air Force Graduate and Postgraduate program at the Armed Forces Parliamentary Trust. Mary also earned a MA Hons degree in Management Studies and Literature from the University of Glasgow. Additionally, they pursued further education in Organisational Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London.
