Michael Kingfield

Michael Kingfield is currently the General Counsel at Insider. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Director of Business Development at MediaMath from June 2012 to June 2014. Michael has also held the position of Director, Business Development at IGN Entertainment from May 2011 to January 2012. In this role, they provided legal and business guidance and analysis to online media companies and tech startups. From January 2012 to June 2012, Michael worked as a Consultant, providing business development, business analysis, and legal affairs services to online media companies and tech startups.

Prior to their work in Business Development, Michael worked as Legal Intern at Turntable Lab Inc. / Money Studies from June 2005 to August 2005. Michael then became the Manager of Affiliate Partnerships at UGO Entertainment, Inc. from June 2004 to May 2008. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing relationships with UGO's affiliate partners.

Michael Kingfield attended Georgetown Prep before studying for a BS in Legal and Ethical Studies & Business Management at Fordham University. Michael then attended Brooklyn Law School, where they obtained their JD.
