Director of Marketing at Business Interiors

Mark Griffo is the current Director of Marketing at Business Interiors. Mark has held this position since April 2021. Prior to this, they were the Territory Manager - A+D and Corporate Business Development at Global Furniture Group from March 2015 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for researching, identifying, and building relationships with designers and architects at 60+ firms to grow Global’s market presence and name recognition, support project specifications, and provide technical and product application information. Mark also led weekly presentations and product demonstrations, and maintained a robust CRM database of client information. In addition, they collaborated with Global Marketing to create presentations and to design branding material for A+D distribution nationwide. Mark also conducted new hire training as it relates to best practices, presentation techniques, and general knowledge exchange.

Before joining Global Furniture Group, Mark Griffo was the Exhibit Preparator at the Birmingham Museum of Art from January 2012 to March 2015. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Rental Office Manager at Alys Beach from February 2010 to November 2011. Mark also served as the Alys Shoppe Manager at Alys Beach from May 2009 to August 2009. Their first job was as a Location Production Assistant at Sony Pictures Entertainment from August 2007 to November 2007.

Mark Griffo studied graphic design at Auburn University and Vestavia Hills High School.
