Søren Laungaard

Søren Laungaard is the CEO of Business Model Excellence Institute, a position they have held since 2008. Prior to this, they were Chief Process Officer and Head of Customer Service for A.P. Moller Maersk from 2001 to 2008. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's customer service operations and process improvement initiatives.

Laungaard began their career with Maersk in 1990 as General Manager of the Sea-Land Global Implementation Group. In this role, they oversaw the implementation of new business processes and strategies for the company. Søren remained with Maersk until 2000, when they left to become General Manager of Maersk Benelux B.V.

In 2001, Laungaard returned to A.P. Moller Maersk, this time as Chief Process Officer and Head of Customer Service. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the company's customer service operations and process improvement initiatives. Søren remained with the company until 2008, when they left to become CEO of Business Model Excellence Institute.

Søren Laungaard has an EMBA from IMD, as well as PED I+II and "Building on Talent" from the same school. Søren also has an HD(F) from Copenhagen Business School.
