Feather Sams Huesties

Feather Sams Huesties currently serves as a Regional Development Officer at Business Oregon since January 2022. Prior to this role, Feather held various positions at the Oregon Department of Transportation from September 2010 to February 2022, including Environmental Program Coordinator, District Operations Coordinator, Field Coordinator for the Office of Civil Rights, and District Executive Secretary. Feather was the Executive Director at Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts from May 2009 to September 2010 and served as Administrative Officer at Tamastslikt Cultural Institute from September 2005 to May 2009, after previously working as a Heritage Consultant there from July 2000 to July 2001. Feather holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Washington State University (2001-2004) and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Whitman College (1996-2000).
