Gabriel M. Silva has served as the Small Business Services Coordinator for the Oregon Business Development Department "Business Oregon" since June 2008. Prior to this role, Silva was the Administrator for the Oregon Small Business Advisory Council from 2008 to 2015, where the council focused on enhancing the growth and sustainability of Oregon's small businesses and advised the Governor on related policies. From 2004 to 2008, Silva worked as the State Equal Opportunity Officer/MOA Coordinator for the Oregon Employment Department, applying civil rights law to ensure equitable access to the Oregon WorkSource System. Gabriel M. Silva holds a BA and MBA in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University and the University of Phoenix.
