Angelica Malvar, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has over 20 years of work experience in various HR roles. Angelica currently serves as the Director of People & Culture HRIS and Operations at Business Wire since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the People & Culture Director at the same company from May 2016 to September 2019. Before joining Business Wire, Angelica was a Human Resources Manager at AMERICAN CAREQUEST INC. from July 2012 to April 2013, where they were responsible for payroll processing, recruitment, employee onboarding, policy creation, and benefits management. From March 2005 to July 2012, they worked as a Business Manager at Oakes Children’s Center, overseeing IT restructuring, workers compensation claims, safety compliance, and supervision of office administrators.
