Chris Bell has over 20 years of work experience in software development and IT roles. Chris started their career in 1996 as a Developer at Bacon and Woodrow, where they worked on the development of an actuarial system. Chris then moved on to Metastorm in 1998, where they contributed to the development of the e-Work business process management package.

In 2004, Chris joined Advanced Portfolio Technologies as a Developer, focusing on the redevelopment of the company's financial risk management product. Chris also helped maintain the existing code base.

From 2006 to 2009, Chris worked at Process Mapping as a Developer, where they designed, developed, and maintained large Metastorm BPM processes for clients worldwide. Chris also worked on integration projects using ASP.NET, AJAX, Windows Workflow, and SQL Server.

In 2009, Chris joined GGP Systems Ltd as an eGovernment Team Leader for a short period before transitioning to freelance work as a developer from 2010 to 2011.

Chris then joined Business Optix in 2010 as a Lead Developer. Their role involved creating operational improvement strategies that leverage the organization's strengths and opportunities while addressing weaknesses and threats.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated a strong technical background, working with languages such as Delphi, C#, and C++, and has experience in various industries, including finance and government.

Chris Bell attended Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School from 1983 to 1990. In 1990, they enrolled at Newcastle University and graduated in 1994 with an MEng degree in Microelectronics and Software Engineering.
