Mike Cleary

Mike Cleary is an experienced leader in multi-site operations and team management, currently serving as the Area Director at Busy Bees Nurseries since October 2022, overseeing the performance of 10 centers and a team of 12 Centre Directors. Previously, Mike held multiple roles at Mecca Bingo Limited (Rank Group) from April 2011 to July 2022, including Regional Operations Manager, where accountability for 13 venues and a substantial turnover resulted in effective P&L management and operational excellence. Mike's career began in hospitality, with significant early roles as General Manager across various venues and as a Sales Consultant at CSL Sofas. An academic background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Leisure, Leadership and Strategy with Distinction from Birmingham City University.
