Joe Kelly

Joe Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joe is currently working as the VP Support and Sales at ButcherBox since 2018. Prior to that, they were self-employed from 2017 to 2018, providing mentorship and advice to Berlin startups. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Upwork as the Director of Customer Success, and as an Engagement Manager. Before that, from 2011 to 2014, they worked at CustomMade Ventures as the Director of Marketplace Operations, Director of Maker Success, and as a Product Analyst. Joe also served as the Managing Partner at Passport Equity Partners from 2010 to 2011. In addition, Joe Kelly has experience as an entrepreneur, owning and managing Rock Marine, where they provided boat delivery services and oversaw project management. Joe also worked as the Waterfront Manager at Harbor View Hotel & Resort and Kelley House on Martha's Vineyard from 2007 to 2009. Joe's early career includes their role as a Junior Broker at MidLantic Yacht Sales, Inc. from 2005 to 2007.

Joe Kelly obtained their B.A. degree in Economics from Saint Joseph's University. Joe then pursued an MBA degree with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they have certifications in Safety at Sea from US Sailing and holds a United States Coast Guard Master Captain's License 100 Gross Tons, with endorsements in Sailing and Towing.
