Jack Thurston

VP, Marketing at ButcherJoseph & Co.

Jack is an accomplished financial services marketing and communications executive with over 20 years of experience driving new business and market share through comprehensive marketing initiatives. As Vice President, Marketing, Jack leads all aspects of marketing and communications for ButcherJoseph, from go-to-market strategy and driving brand awareness to lead generation and sales enablement efforts to support the firm’s business development process.

Prior to ButcherJoeseph, Jack was Chief Marketing Officer at Livingstone, an M&A and debt advisory firm, where be built and led the organization’s global marketing and communications strategy and team, overseeing all marketing initiatives, brand, digital and content, PR, and media efforts. He also spent parts of his career with William Blair, BAI and LaSalle Bank, leading marketing efforts for the investment banking, wealth management and ESOP teams.

Jack serves on the board of directors for Volunteers of America of Illinois. He holds an MBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Illinois, and a BA in English Literature from Eastern Illinois University.
