Scott has been the President of Butler Brothers Development and Vice President Butler Brothers Construction since inception in 2003. He is also a Partner of Butler Brothers Architecture responsible for design and production. Scott studied Environmental Design at Texas A&M and earned his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Houston. He worked for notable firms such as Page Southerland Page, Mirador Group, and Glassman Shoemake Maldonado. He played central roles as an architect for the Memorial Hospital/Sisters of Charity ambulatory care facilities, renovation of the historic Rice Hotel, the Metropolis Lofts and also specialized in restaurant and retail design. He also contributed his creativity, knowledge, and skill to projects in the Woodlands Research Forest and Rice University as well. Scott enjoys participating in charitable work and is on the board of Neuhaus Education Center as well as a house community member of River Oaks Country Club.
